Zayn Malik Thanks One Direction In Asian Awards Speech
Zayn hit the stage at the Asian Awards and delivered one heck of a speech. The shy singer thanked his parents, God and One Direction for always standing by his side. Here’s what he said about his former bandmates — Harry Styles, 21, Liam Payne, 21, Niall Horan, 21, and Louis Tomlinson, 23.
“I’d also like to take this moment to thank four of the best guys I’ve ever met,” Zayn said. “Everything I’ve done with them will stay with me for the rest of my life.” Cue the fangirl screams.[jwplatform 83rrSJ0j]
This was Zayn’s first public appearance since leaving One Direction back in March 2015. He’s been noticeably absent from the limelight but returned looking fresh and oh so fine.

When Zayn stepped out at the Asian Awards, he looked different. That’s because he completely shaved his head! Zayn got rid of his longer hair in favor of a buzzed ‘do. Needless to say, Zayn fans freaked out over the hair makeover, but that wasn’t the last surprise Zayn had for us.
Zayn also got a nose ring! This is a whole new Zayn we’re seeing, and we have to say, we love it!
