Jessie James Decker Shares Her Christmas Punch Recipe That ‘Makes The House Smell LIke Cinnamon’

There are no grinches here with Jessie James Decker‘s delicious holiday recipes! As the singer prepares her Nashville home for Christmas, she shared her festive Christmas Punch recipe from her recent cookbook, Just Feed Me! “I’m so excited to make my Christmas Punch again this holiday season,” she told HollywoodLife.com, exclusively. “It makes the whole house smell like cinnamon and Christmas morning!” Yum!
Incorporating all the delicious flavors of the holidays, this Christmas Punch takes just five minutes to prep and 20 to whip up! Ingredients include a 1/2 gallon of Apple Cider, 1 1/2 cups of cranberries (plus more for garnish), 2 oranges, sliced, 3 sprigs of fresh rosemary, 3-4 cinnamon sticks, ice and 1 bottle of chilled champagne.
“In a large saucepan, combine the apple cider, 4 cups of water, the cranberries, orange slices, rosemary, and cinnamon and simmer over medium-low heat for 20 minutes, which will fill the room with cinnamon fragrance,” Jessie instructed. “Cool, and then ladle into wineglasses over ice and top with Champagne to serve.”
The mother of three shared that she came up with this recipe while “looking for something fragrant to fill up the house on Christmas morning.” “Let me tell ya, this is a hit!” she gushed.
Jessie’s cookbook, Just Feed Me, hit stores on September 22nd of this year, and features an array of her Southern, home-cooking inspired recipes, like her Juicy Burger, Jambalaya, and Crab Bisque. “I have so many delicious foods in there that are great for lunch. I’ve got some chilis that are amazing, some pastas. For dinner, I have a delicious honey friend chicken recipe which is the Southerner in me and then I have for dessert, this olive oil cake that I feel is really interesting and people will be surprised by how much they love,” she told HL in an EXCLUSIVE interview back in September around the launch of her book. I really wanted to share quick tips and make everyone’s lives easier. I’m not here to complicate it and tell you we’re going to do some fancy rabbit and rack of lamb. That’s not my vibe. I’m here to show that we can whip something up in 20 minutes and it’s absolutely delicious and it’s easy for you. I want to make people’s lives easier.”
