Mary-Kate Olsen Pregnant With First Child — Report
“Not only did Mary-Kate steer clear of alcohol, she didn’t smoke a single cigarette,” an insider dished to Star magazine of the celeb at the star-studded affair. “We all started wondering if she was hiding a baby bump underneath that oversize coat.” And while the news may seem to come out of nowhere, if it is in fact true, a pregnancy for Mary-Kate has apparently been a longtime coming.
“Olivier knew very early on that he wanted to start a family with her, but Mary-Kate was a little hesitant at first,” revealed the source. “She’s got her hands full with the fashion line.” It looks like Mary-Kate may have actually warmed up to the idea though — thanks to Olivier’s two kids, Julien, 14, and Margot, 12.
“Mary-Kate takes her role as stepmother to those kids very seriously,” the source added. “Helping out with Julien and Margot taught her a lot about being a parent. There’s no doubt that she is going to make an amazing mother.” And while we totally believe it, apparently her twin sister, Ashley Olsen, is not very psyched about the news — as she’s never been a huge fan of Olivier.
But whether or not she has her sister’s full support, the source claims Mary-Kate is absolutely thrilled to be starting her own family. “Mary-Kate’s said goodbye to alcohol, cigarettes, and coffee and signed up for yoga and aerobic classes,” the insider gushed. “Staying healthy is her first priority right now.” How exciting!
