Serena Williams, 39, looked ready to ring in New Year’s Eve a few days early while posing for glamorous family photos. The Grand Slam champion dazzled in a sparkly silver mini dress while holding her daughter Olympia, 3, who wore a dainty white dress with frilled sleeves. Olympia’s dad and Serena’s husband, Alexis Ohanian, 37, also got dressed up in a grey sports coat.

The trio posed in a car driveway, and Alexis shared the photos from the impromptu family shoot on his Instagram page on Dec. 29. “Business Dad life never stops. Though sometimes it pauses for a family photo. Trying to do the best I can for these two,” the Reddit co-founder captioned the sweet post. Celebrities like Alicia Keys and Olivia Munn were among the many fans who left affectionate comments under the family photos.

Shortly after sharing the photos, Alexis teased that he had a stern talk with Olympia about pizza. “After dinner @OlympiaOhanian asks if I’m making pizza and I said no, we just had dinner. She insists that because ‘it’s dark out, Papa makes pizza’ — naturally, I started explaining the difference between correlation and causation… But she was unmoved,” the Internet entrepreneur and investor wrote on Twitter on Tuesday night.

Even if he won’t make pizza after dinnertime, Alexis will make it snow — in sunny Florida, where he lives with Serena and Olympia! Serena credited her husband for creating “Florida snow days” so that she and Olympia could go sledding on a faux snow hill earlier in December as the iconic mom-daughter duo wore matching dresses. The snow day was a hit with Olympia.

Of course, Serena is just as much of a doting parent. Throughout quarantine, the tennis legend has made sure to keep her daughter happy and entertained: whether that be by dressing up in princess attire together, singing a duet to the Paw Patrol theme song, or signing up Olympia for tennis lessons.
