Kim Kardashian’s Nail Polish — Shop Her Exact VMAs Manicure For $11.50
Kim Kardashian, 35, chose a classic pale pink polish for her nails to show off her massive diamond ring from husband Kanye West. The reality TV star attended the August 28 show in NYC, serving as one of the show’s presenters for Britney Spears‘ highly-anticipated return to the VMAs stage.
Keeping her award show look simple in a sheer black mini dress, Kim’s hair and makeup included textured waves with a wet finish and glowing, golden skin. To complete her beauty look, Kim opted for a clean, sheer pink polish on her square cut nails.

Behind Kim’s nails was celebrity manicurist Kimmie Kyees, who shared the perfect up-close shot of the finished look. Working with Essie, Kimmie revealed that she chose Essie’s new Gel Couture Nail Polish in Sheer Fantasy, $11.50.
To copy Kim’s look, start with clean nails and apply a thin coat of Sheer Fantasy, allowing it to fully dry before applying a second coat. Since the polish hue is so pale, it’s important to paint thin coats onto your nails for an opaque finish. Once the color is dry, apply the Essie Gel Couture Top Coat, $11.50, for a high-shine, gel-like finish without a UV or LED lamp.
