1. She’s a New York Times Best-Selling author.
Karrine shared Columbus’s dirty laundry — literally — by throwing her allegedly cheating husband’s stuff all over the floor in a March 29 Instagram video. In another post, she said “somebody come get [Columbus’s] cheating ass and all his sh*t.” Yikes.
Columbus shouldn’t be surprised that Karrine took this scandal public, as she wrote Confessions of a Video Vixen in 2005. The New York Times best-selling book was a tell-all about her sexual adventures within the hip-hop and sports world, according to the Washington Post.
2. She was introduced into the hip-hop world by her first husband, Kool G Rap.
Karrine met the old school rapper, Kool G Rap (real name Nathaniel Wilson, 47) when she was just 17-years-old. He, on the other hand, was 27, per Buzzfeed. They got married, though it wasn’t legal since she was underage. Karrine claims Kool was abusive and unfaithful (which he has denied) and after giving birth to their son, she left him.
3. Prior to her book, she starred in a ton of music videos
Though Karrine’s primarily known for her alleged sexual romps, you’ve probably seen her in your favorite hip-hop video. Karrine started her career as a video model in 1999, appearing in over 20 music videos for artists like Jay Z, 46, R. Kelly, 49, and LL Cool J, 48, per the Philadelphia Inquirer. She even appeared in A Man Apart, starring Vin Diesel, 48.
4. Ja Rule gave her a really, really raunchy nickname.
Karrine is also known by the name “Superhead.” Ja Rule, 40, allegedly recited the lines from a Jadakiss, 40, song that gushed about a woman’s oral abilities. When asked how this nickname stuck with Karrine, she said, according to All Hip Hop, “Well, I’m good at everything I do…I’m not going to touch anything unless I plan on doing it better than anyone else you’ve ever met in your entire life.”
5. She and Columbus have had a short and drama-filled marriage.
Karrine announced she and Columbus were married in a Jan. 2016 Instagram post, according to All Hip-Hop. “This is my husband. Legally,” she reportedly wrote. However, Columbus is allegedly still legally married to his ex, Tanee McCall, 34, since their divorce hasn’t gone completely through. Yikes!
