Oprah has partnered with Weight Watchers to finally take control of her health and weight. In her now famous commercial, she declares, “I. LOVE. BREAD.”

Weight Watchers’ overall philosophy is that you can eat whatever you want, in moderation. Portion control is a huge part of it, and the plan uses “points” to encourage you to eat more fruits and vegetables. Fiber and protein are rewarded, while items with sugar and carbs have a higher point value. You can also gain more points by working out.

Oprah Winfrey’s Weight Loss — Makeover At Tribeca Film Festival

Weight Watchers was named the #4 Best Diet Overall by U.S. News & World Report in 2016. It won the top spot for Best Weight-Loss Diets and Easiest Diets To Follow.

Oprah surprised dieters at a Weight Watchers meeting on April 19. The stunned people screamed “are you kidding me?” at her — it was hysterical. It was all documented in a Facebook live video, filmed by Oprah’s BFF Gayle King. Oprah said this was her first meeting since she usually does everything online.
