Harry Styles’ Mom Gets Hitched

Harry’s mom Anne Cox married Robin Twist on June 1 in a ceremony Anne tweeted would be a “small, private family affair” in Cheshire, England, where Harry grew up. Robin’s son reportedly served as a co-best man with Harry and Harry’s older sister, Gemma Styles, was the maid of honor. It sounds like Harry’s mom and new stepdad are very family-oriented!

Since Anne and Harry’s biological father, Des Styles, divorced when Harry was 7, Robin has helped raise Harry and Gemma, practically making him family before the wedding! One of the wedding guests told the UK’s Sunday Mirror that Harry “couldn’t stop smiling” the entire day. What an adorably proud son!

The Other 1D Boys Were Nowhere In Sight

Anne scheduled her wedding day so her son could share in her special day during One Direction’s transition from the European leg of their Take Me Home Tour to the North American leg. Harry considers his mom to be one of his best friends, so we’re glad he was able to be there!

But where were the other boys?

As close as the lads may be, this was a day meant for Harry and his family. The details of the wedding location were also kept secret so fans wouldn’t come by.

Despite the boys’ separation for the affair, they were all together the night before the wedding, hoping to get into an exclusive club in London. But their extreme level of fame didn’t help them that night — they were denied at the door for being dressed too casually! Maybe Harry should have worn his snazzy wedding get-up to the club!
