Ellen Denegeres, who brought the brave girl on her show a few times and made her an honorary CoverGirl, revealed her grief in a July 16 tweet after the sad news broke. Ellen tweeted:
This year I met a very special girl, and today we lost her. Sending my heart to Talia’s family. I’m so sad.
Demi Lovato, who was interviewed by Talia on Ellen, tweeted along with a pic of the two, “An interview I’ll never forget because of your beautiful smile and sweet heart…”
Kendall Jenner wrote, “just heard about Talia. RIP beautiful. my thoughts and prayers go out to her loved ones. stay strong, your little angel is watching over you.”

Talia Joy’s Tragic Death At 13
After Talia’s tragic death on July 16, her family posted this statement on her Facebook page:
It is with a heavy heart that we share with all of you that Talia has earned her wings at 11:22am. Please lift her beautiful soul, her beautiful light to heaven and please send your love and prayers to her family during this most difficult time. God speed little one, may you be free from pain and suffering, may your soul feel the light and love that you brought to so many of us on this Earth during the short time you were her with us. We will miss you more than you will ever know baby girl.
So sad. Our thoughts are with Talia’s family during this difficult time.
