Jon Hamm, 45, discussed the speculation concerning his penis size — aka his “Hammaconda,” and got intensely  personal about what he thinks of the fan fascination that has been going on for the past four years in the latest cover story of GQ Australia,! “It was a topic of fascination for other people — certainly not me, ” The Mad Men actor told GQ, reportedly laughing about the reports. “By the way, as rumors go — not the worst.” That is SO funny!

Jon’s anatomy became a hot topic of discussion back in 2012, when fans began to notice the actor having a rather large bulge in his pants in a number of paparazzi pics published online. Ow, ow! And the rumors began swirling again in 2013, after the New York Daily News published a report, claiming that Jon’s Hammaconda became an issue while he was filming on the set of Mad Men.

During the sixth season of the AMC show, Jon was reportedly instructed by staff members at the network to wear underwear while shooting his scenes, according to the publication. “This season takes place in the 1960s, where the pants are very tight and leave little to the imagination. Jon’s impressive anatomy is so distracting that they politely insisted on underwear,” a source told NY Daily News. Yikes! That may be a little embarrassing, but just as the actor said, it’s not the worst problem to have!

But Jon hasn’t always had such a laid back attitude in regards to the fan’s interest. In 2013, the actor dished to Rolling Stone that he thought the commentary was “a little rude.” “They’re called ‘privates’ for a reason… I’m wearing pants, for f*ck’s sake. Lay off,” he stated at the time. We definitely understand his point of view here.

Jon was named the International Man of the Decade at the 2016 GQ Men of the Year Awards on Nov. 16. So it’s safe to say the fascination about his manhood will continue, but at least he’s no longer bothered by it!
