“Selena is such a big star on a level that I’d never been around,” Nat tells Us Weekly. You could say that again — the 18-year-old actor is just getting his feet wet in Hollywood.

Nat continues, explaining that while they were filming together she was still dating Justin, so the attention she was getting was “insane,” but Nat also admits that Selena couldn’t have handled the situation better: “she handled it with such grace and had such focus as an actress.” Besides becoming friends, Nat says that Selena taught him how to be a star: “if that ever happens to me, I have a good example in her of how to handle it.” How sweet!

Honestly, Selena continues to impress us with her maturity and yes, grace. Nat thought the drama around Selena was crazy when she was dating Justin, but it’s been even crazier since they split. And still, Selena hasn’t gone off the rails (at least compared to her ex). Sure, she’s thrown in a few disses that weren’t so ladylike, but we’ll give her a break — for the most part she has seemed wise beyond her age of 20.
