‘Scandal’: Olivia & Jake Have Yet Another Sexy Hookup — Watch New Promo
Fitz is not going to like this. The love triangle between Jake, Olivia and Fitz is alive and well on Scandal, and now it’s time for the Olake fandom to shine. In the opening moments of the new promo, Jake tells Olivia, “I don’t like waiting.” Olivia replies, “Then don’t.”
While we don’t know exactly what they’re talking about, Jake has to be getting tired of waiting for Olivia to come around. Well, Olivia is leaving her white hat behind, and she’s literally jumping in Jake’s arms. The two on-again, off-again lovers have a sexy hookup in the new trailer, with Olivia pouncing Jake as she walks out of the elevator! While this could be a dream, we’re really hoping it’s not.
The second half of season 5 is really showing off a new Olivia. When Abby (Darby Stanchfield) asks if Olivia misses him (as in Fitz), Olivia says, “No.” Olitz fans, stay strong. Olivia and Fitz couldn’t be farther apart after their intense breakup and Olivia’s abortion, which Fitz doesn’t even know about yet. As we all know, Olivia can’t stay away from Fitz for long. At the end of the promo, she calls him while he’s sitting in the Oval. Prepare for another epic Olitz phone call.
Elsewhere in the sneak peek, Olivia refuses to run Mellie’s campaign, and Mellie (Bellamy Young) doesn’t seem too pleased. After all, they had a deal. But Olivia’s focusing on her Gladiators, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Scandal returns Feb. 11 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
