Nicki Minaj Glows In Makeup-Free Video After Getting Her Hair Styled In Waves Days Before Son’s 1st Xmas

Nicki Minaj, 38, is ready to ring in the holidays in style. Before she played with Christmas-themed makeup looks, though, she went completely makeup-free while getting her hair done on Dec. 22. Nicki’s face glowed as she showed off her new long black waves courtesy of hairstylist Arrogant Tae in an Instagram video, seen below.

Nicki was excited about her new waves — so much so, she quoted a famous line from Kamala Harris. “We did it, Joe,” Nicki told her celebrity hairstylist in another video, who immediately burst into laughter. These were the same words the vice president elect told Joe Biden over the phone, shortly after he won the U.S. presidential election on Nov. 7.

Nicki is getting ready for her first Christmas with her nearly three-month-old son. The “Barbie Tingz” rapper welcomed her baby boy with husband Kenneth Petty, 42, on Sept. 30 (per TMZ) and has been “loving every minute” of motherhood ever since, a source close to Nicki EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.

“Nicki and Kenneth are a team and they’re learning all about the highs and challenges of parenthood as the days go by. They really are great parents,” the insider told us in November, adding, “They love being in the thick of it all and Nicki is taking things amazingly well. Nicki knows she’s very blessed and the more time she can spend with her little one, the better.”

The past few months have been busy for Nicki, who has decided to not hop on the celebrity bandwagon of hiring a nanny to help raise her first child. “Nicki appreciates the luxuries she’s afforded, but she’s not like most celebrities, especially when it comes to her loved ones — so getting a nanny isn’t a decision she would take lightly,” another source told HollywoodLife in November.
