‘Marriage Boot Camp’ Preview: ‘Bridezilla’ Faces Alimony
Porsha Holt-Martin Denies Husband Of Alimony
The lawyer asks Porsha how she feels about paying alimony, which means she would provide financial support to her husband before or after they divorce, if they decide to do so — and she wants nothing to do with it. She said she’s not paying alimony, but the lawyer tells her it won’t be her choice.
When she asks why she would have to pay Byron alimony if they split, the lawyer simply says, “Because you’ve been supporting him.”
In “Diva Zilla” fashion, Porsha responds, “Oh no, I don’t take care of no grown man.”
And once she’s not around the lawyer, she brings out the real Zilla: “I’m not payin’ nobody s**t. I got my own child, I’m takin’ care of my own business. You are not about to make me do anything.”
‘Marriage Boot Camp’ Puts Bridezillas To The Test
Each episode of the nine-part series, which airs on Fridays at 9/8c on WE tv, puts Porsha and the other Bridezillas up to tasks that test their relationships with their husbands, ultimately determining if their marriage is worth saving.
The boot camp is only two weeks long, which means things happen fast — Porsha was shocked that alimony was discussed only three days into the camp. Maybe intense and fast-paced is what these Bridezillas need for a wake-up call!
