Nate Dogg’s College Football Star Son Arrested In Major Drug Sting Investigation
Nate Dogg‘s son, Naijiel Hale, has reportedly been charged with two counts of felony distribution of dangerous drugs and one count of misdemeanor possession, after being arrested in a major drug sting operation, TMZ reports. The junior quarterback at Montana State allegedly set up multiple drug deals with people that ended up being undercover cops.
Police told TMZ they “contacted Hale to purchase a bunch of Xanax pills,” and he allegedly had his teammate, DarrenGardenhire, complete the transaction. Another time, they allegedly “arranged a deal at his home where he had a 3rd person deliver the drugs.”

Naijiel is facing some serious felony charges, as they carry a maximum penalty of life in prison. Both football players have been suspended indefinitely after being charged with distributing prescription drugs.
Justice of the Peace Rick West set bail at $25,000 for Naijiel, while Darren’s bail was set at $20,000, according to CBS News. They did not enter pleas.
Naijiel’s dad, rapper Nate Dogg, died on March 15, 2011 at the age of 41. His cause of death was from complications of multiple strokes.
