This initiative helps aspiring actors hone their skills and secure paid roles in local productions, following in the footsteps of native stars like Burt Ceaser from Dune: Part Two.
Recognizing Nevis’s growing film potential, this island’s Premier Mark Brantley recently announced plans to launch Film Focus Nevis, a platform set up to create a space open to homegrown talents as well as talents from the region and internationally that allows those interested to explore opportunities within various sectors of film.
Working alongside the Nevis Film Commission and NEPAC, the goal is to help local artists create a sustainable career in the film world for themselves. The initiative was officially introduced during a special ceremony on February 9, 2025.
