“Bella is head over heels for Abel (The Weeknd’s real name), she’s so proud to be with him,” the insider revealed EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.com. “She thinks he’s the most talented guy on the planet and the sexiest. They have a pretty wild time together, it’s everything you’d expect from listening to his songs.” Rumors have swirled around the duo’s relationship since May 2015 when Bella and The Weeknd were constantly hanging out with Gigi Hadid, 20, and her then boyfriend, Cody Simpson, 18.
Many speculated that Bella confirmed her relationship with the “Earned It” singer after the Much Music Video Awards June 2015. While the model wasn’t at the show, she shared a sweet photo on Instagram of her sister presenting The Weeknd his award on stage. Not to mention shortly after, Gigi shared a picture of herself and the singer walking off stage, writing, “congrats my brother.” As if that wasn’t suspicious enough.

Alas, it wasn’t until Sept. 8 the two came clean about their relationship. Bella and The Weeknd were spotted out on a date in NYC. The two left a private event Travi$ Scott hosted at Up&Down nightclub after his concert and were caught holding hands! While they haven’t necessarily come out and confirm their relationship verbally, hand holding is certainly a sign that these two are serious.
