As manager of all her kids, Kris is always looking to do whatever it takes to keep her family in the spotlight, and when it came to Kendall, that meant a relationship with the Biebs!
The Kardashian matriarch is actually the one who pushed her teenage daughter to pursue Justin in order to further her modeling career, Life & Style reports. Kendall allegedly did just that after the 2014 Coachella Music Festival (over a year ago), and wound up in bed with the “Where Are U Now” singer — which Selena walked in on, the mag claims!
Since Selena and Justin were together at the time, the 22-year-old was completely devastated and furious at Kendall. “Selena was heartbroken and literally freaked out,” the mag’s source says. “For months, Selena sent [Kendall] angry texts and insulted her. She was really mean to Kendall, but who could blame her? She thought she was her friend.”

Coincidentally, just two days before this story came out, Selena and Kris reunited at the Met Gala on May 4. Photographers caught their red carpet moment, during which the “I Want You To Know” singer appeared to have a tear in her eye as she hugged the momager.

Considering Justin AND Kendall were both also at the Met Ball, it’s possible that Selena was having an emotional, anxiety-filled moment over seeing her ex and former friend, so she turned to Kris for comfort. Clearly she hadn’t yet heard that Kris may be the root of all her love triangle problems to begin with!
This isn’t the first time Selena has had a heart-to-heart with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, either. On Oct. 1, 2014, they bonded while flying home from Paris Fashion Week together — just after Kendall and Justin had gone on a romantic dinner date!
