BJ is a double talent. Not only is he a singer, but he plays the cello at the same time. BJ studied music education, cello performance, and music industry at James Madison University, according to his official website. That’s also where he began his singing career as a soloist for an all-male a capella group.

BJ has released original music.

BJ released his new single “It’s A New Day” on July 18, the same day his audition aired on NBC. He also dropped additional singles in 2019: “Time” and “On My Mind.”

BJ grew up in Virginia.
