Taylor Swift, 26, and Tom Hiddleston, 35, had a whirlwind summer romance, but now that the leaves are changing, they’re going their separate ways. Us Weekly, which initially reported the breakup in their Sept. 19 issue, also claimed that Tom was looking at engagement rings for Taylor after only a month of dating! “Just two months ago, [he] was contemplating buying a ring for [Tayor],” an insider told the mag. It’s the love story that Taylor will sadly never say “yes” to!

The magazine also previously reported that the couple had discussed their future together at length. “He’s talked about it all: marriage and kids,” a source revealed. “I wouldn’t be surprised if he proposed.” Too bad he never got the chance!
Taylor and Tom called it quits after a three-month long romance, and boy, what a wild ride it was. After initially hanging out at the Met Gala on May 2, they went public as a couple in the famous Rhode Island pics on June 14. They then traveled the world together, with stops in Nashville, Rome and England, PDAing like crazy on romantic dates all the while. Oh, and we can’t forget the July 4 pics of Tom in that “I <3 T.S.” shirt — but in the end, their love “fizzled”, as Us reported. Now Tom is just another picture to burn!
